The Class A motor home you will find constructed on a unique motor vehicle chassis. This could also be a Bus or truck chassis of some type. A builder will build a Class A motor home from the chassis up on this bus, Truck or unique motor vehicle chassis. They are the most luxurious of all RVs with high class interiors high grade materials are used in the construction. They will also have a lot more comfort and amenities then the other classes of motor homes.

The can be powered by Gas or Diesel and both are more than well equipped for long trips. So you will always be prepared for very long or even the short vacations. The Class A motor homes of today come fully equipped as your complete home away from home on wheels.

Back in 1989 the Class A RVs started showing up with what they called slide-outs. On some models there could be slide-outs for a larger master suite and larger main dining area. When moving down the road the slide-outs would slide-in to fit the road width requirements.

The Class A RVs can be anywhere from 21 to 40 feet long. Prices of new models show up around $49,999 to more than $300,000. The upper price range can vary greatly with the options it may have in generators and electronics. You will find more than all the comforts of home, full kitchens, dining area, bedrooms, Satellite TV and even games. Fully self contained with air and heat full bathrooms. These Class A RVs are really complete very comfortable homes on wheels.

The ride is in style and luxury as passengers can carry on most of the normal daily routines even while traveling. You will find the Class A RV a pleasure to ride in even over long distances.

These types of motor homes are the largest with unlimited features, entertainment centers, and centrally controlled air and heating.

They are not very practical for short trips because they are so large. But they are perfect for the long trip and when set up offers the perfect home away from home environment.

One will question how to find out which one will be the best for me without trying it out first. This is an easy problem to solve by taking an RV Vacation and renting one first. You will find that most of the really good dealers will recommend this action before you buy. The mistake is almost always made it you don’t because it will be too big of even too small for your family.
